Swiss BETA PECTIN is the latest innovation from Schweizer Zucker AG. Already a specialist for comprehensive sugar beet processing, the company is now also establishing itself as an expert for sugar beet pectin with a new extraction plant in Frauenfeld.
Locally grown sugar beets have been processed into natural sugar in Aarberg, Switzerland, for over 100 years – and for half as many years in Frauenfeld. The entire production chain is geared towards the greatest possible sustainability. Sustainable sugar production yields numerous valuable by-products, such as pressed pulp for animal feed, molasses, biogas and natural fertilizers.
